Sponsorship

Your contributions are needed in many ways.  Three volunteers are needed for every rider to help lead the horse and ensure the rider's safety. Monetary contributions are used to purchase equipment and helmets, or you can sponsor a rider who cannot afford the nominal fee.  A corporate donor can support a horse! With your active support, we are working to expand this program year around in an indoor facility. Your help will allow our riders to STRIDE into the future!

Benefactors Recognition

Thank you to all those who helped us make the 2010 STRIDE “Cowgirl Affair” possible!

Growth

We currently have space for 32 clients each summer. Expanding our program to serve additional clients on a year round basis requires more funding and community support. Because we see the huge strides toward greater independence that our clients make each summer during our eight-week program, we feel that the time has come to grow STRIDE into a year round program and to do that successfully, we have on-going needs and a wish list for a riding facility that would be owned and operated by STRIDE.

On-going Needs

  • Riding Scholarships
  • Motorized lift and adaptive equipment

  • Additional training
  • Paid staff with benefits
